Synthetic63 |
SYNTHETIC 63 (in green) is budget string that plays well. Has better feel than the budget solid core Wilson or Prince synthetic gut strings found in many pre-strung rackets. Despite it's slightly thinner guage, it is reasonably durable. |

Ashaway |
I stock the PowerNick18 variety of this string (deep red colour). It is thinner than the standard PowerNick (1.25mm). Provides a firmer feel than the SuperNickXL due to tough Xyex (kevlar-like) fibre core. Strung at 2-3lbs less in tension that standard multifilaments and therefore some string movement will occur during paly. String generates good power, whilst touch play benefits from the hard-feel. If you have your own string, then I'll happily string with that. Tell me exactly what tension you want and that's how I'll do it. |
